I made this shirt because around 7am I often notice traffic picking up as the world seems to be waking up and people are beginning to scurry around heading to work to start their day.
The moment I observe this, it quickly occurs to me that in the quiet silence of the previous 2-3 hours, I have gotten more done than I imagine a large percentage of these people will get done in the entire day that they are just now beginning.
I do not have this thought in an arrogant way, merely in an observant way. So much more can be accomplished quickly during the quiet early morning hours when our bodies are fresh and our minds are clear of the clutter of day time interruptions. Ben Franklin first taught this to me in his autobiography and I will forever be grateful to him for this important influence he had on me.
